A Vision for the Future:
The 11th Annual GSA Symposium

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) of the University of Kentucky College of Communications and Information Studies invites you to submit abstracts for the presentation of papers at “A Vision for the Future: The 11th Annual GSA Symposium.”  The symposium will be held in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday, March 3, 2007.

Participation in the symposium is open to all Ph.D. and M.A. students.  All topics are welcome; the intent of the symposium is to showcase and present as many perspectives, research methodologies, and topics of interest as possible. 

The deadline for the submission of papers is Monday, February 12, 2007.  Authors of the accepted papers will be notified in February.  Only completed papers will be considered for the symposium.

To submit an abstract of your paper online, please use the symposium website located at http://www.uky.edu/CommInfoStudies/GRAD/Symposium/.  Electronic submissions are encouraged! Following submission of your information and abstract, you can also complete your registration for the symposium on the website.

To submit an abstract of your paper via traditional mail, please send your manuscript to the address below.  Please ensure that your name, university or college, address, e-mail address, phone number, and fax number are included.

The registration fee for the symposium is $10.  The fee contributes to the development of the Graduate Student Association of the Graduate Program in Communication at the University of Kentucky.
