2012 Challenges of Aging Conference is May 19

The 29th Annual Meeting The Challenges and Opportunities of Aging will be a fun and informational day with excellent speakers, exhibits, food, and friendship. Crestwood Christian Church is an accessible facility with on-site parking. The 2012 Conference will offer workshops emphasizing health and wellness, education, policy and fun things to do. Caregiver's ToolKit

To recognize UK employee caregivers, Elder Care is offering a free Caregiver's Kit. The kit includes a free publication "Resources on Caring for your Aging Relative or Friend," which is produced by AARP Kentucky and UK Elder Care. Topics include physical concerns, care options, legal and financial issues, and emotional and spiritual support, plus resources for long-distance care giving. To request your copy, e-mail the Elder Care office.
