- On a blank University of Kentucky Temporary Employment timesheet fill in name, social security number, pay period, PLACEMENT NUMBER, and department name and/or number where assigned. Please do NOT write "Temporary Employment" as the department name. When recording hours worked, remember that any off-shift hours must be labeled for the shift differential to be paid.
- Next, both the temporary employee and the supervisor must sign the timesheet.
- Unless handled by the immediate supervisor, IT IS THE TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE'S RESPONSIBILITY to submit a COPY of his/her signed timesheet reporting all hours worked to the Temporary Employment office.
Deliver a COPY of the timesheet to 103 Scovell Hall or fax it to 257-7464 by 3:00 p.m. on the dates listed below.
Contact the Temporary Employment office at 257-9555 ext. 142 to confirm receipt of fax. Do not rely on the confirmation sheet when faxed. The original copy of the timesheet must be returned to the temporary employee's immediate supervisor. The temporary employee should also remind his/her manager to submit the original timesheet to the Temporary Employment office via campus mail or personal delivery.
Temporary Employees are not permitted to deliver ORIGINAL timesheets.
