Troubleshooting - Clearing the Web Browsing Cache in Microsoft Internet Explorer
The following instructions should clear the cache in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Press the following keys simultaneously: CTRL + Shift + Delete. A window called “Delete Browsing History” should appear.
- Uncheck everything except for “Temporary Internet files.”
- With only “Temporary Internet files” checked, click the “Delete” button.
- Depending on the size of your cache, this may take a little while. After the screen closes, close out of Internet Explorer and reopen it. Your homepage should load as it normally did.
