"It's a Gas!"
Writer: Toby Gibbs
Artist/Colorist: Jerry Voigt
Letterer: Jerry Voigt

This comic strip, a typical four-panel gag strip which appeared in the University of Kentucky's student newspaper, The Kentucky Kernel, includes the only known comics appearance of the rather obscure lanthanide element, lutetium.  Presumably, lutetium was chosen for its obscurity.
