Mira Ball is chief financial officer of Ball Homes Inc. and has been a teacher in the Fayette County Public School System. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky . She has been associated with numerous boards and organizations, including LG&E, Kentucky Utilities Energy, Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Horse Park , Lexington Industrial Foundation, State Economic Development Task Force, and Governor's Commission on Tax Policy. She also is a member of the endowment board of Kentucky Educational Television, Midway College board of trustees, Bluegrass Community Foundation, Kentucky Historical Society, and The Henry Clay Center for Statesmanship.
