Penelope A. Brown is a commercial real estate developer and has been a teacher in the Denver (Colorado) and Trimble County public schools. She is a certified yoga and group fitness instructor for Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin and contributing writer for Fitness Plus Magazine. She has served as a board member for Habitat for Humanity and Advisory Board for Pride Environmental Center. She is a current board member for the Gifted and Talented Board of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and The Girl Scouts – Wilderness Road Council. She sings on the Praise Team for Grace on the Hill, Methodist Church and is an actor in the community theater. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky.
