Ann Haney joined the board in 2004 as an alumni representative. She holds a bacheor's degree from the University of Kentucky. Ms. Haney is co-owner of Haney's Appledale Farm, executive director of the Pulaski County Public Library Foundation, and community relations director for the Pulaski County Library. She is a member of the advisory council for the Nancy Elementary School Family Resource Center. She was the founding director of the Pulaski County Literacy Council. She is a former teacher, cheerleading coach, and Site Base Council member for the Pulaski County Public School System. Ms. Haney was the president of the Pulaski County InterAgency Council and the Lake Cumberland Performing Arts Inc. She was a founding board member of the Pulaski County Youth Football League and was an officer and board member of the Southwestern High School Football Boosters. She was a member of the Education Committee of the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce. She is a past president of the University of Kentucky alumni Association, recipient of the association's Alumni service Award, and a UK Fellow.
