In the past, she has served on the Residency Review Committee, Libraries Committee, and Parking Violation Appeals Committee. From the time she stepped foot on campus, Rowan has devoted the majority of her involvement to the Student Government Association. She was elected as a Freshman Senator and served on the Appropriations and Revenue Committee. She participated in the Leadership Development Program and as a member of the Elections Board. She continued to serve the needs of students her sophomore year as a Senator at Large serving on the Academic and Student Affairs committee. For the past three years, Rowan has experienced the inter-workings of every branch of Student Government and cannot wait to use this knowledge to help SGA leave a positive impact on each and every student.

As the student trustee, Rowan hopes to create a more inclusive campus community, as well as a safe environment for students of all backgrounds to thrive. She is passionate about issues regarding diversity, mental health, and the culture of sexual assault surrounding college campuses. She hopes to not only address these prevalent issues in this coming year, but build a solid foundation of progress that can be built on for years to come.
