Professor Irina Voro is an internationally renowned teacher of music and creativity. She is the recipient of U.S. Presidential Administration’s distinguished teacher award, Kentucky Music Teachers’ Association “Teacher of the Year” award and Provost Award for Outstanding Teaching, among others. She has been repeatedly invited to share her teaching insights at the most prestigious national and international conferences.

Dr. Voro’s previous academic experience includes visiting professorships at the University of Florida and Faculdade de Musica do Espirito Santo (Brazil), as well as teaching engagements at the Prague International Piano Master Classes and Indiana University Summer Music Academy.

The winner of an international music performance prize, in recent years Dr. Voro has performed solo concerti with philharmonic orchestras on four continents and given solo piano recitals in 11 countries and 15 states of the United States. 

In addition to her artistic and teaching duties, Dr. Voro is the co-owner of Fallibility Management Group, an anti-corruption and change management firm. She is a Kentucky Colonel and an honorary citizen of the city of Hazard, Perry County, Kentucky.
