Billy Joe Miles is president of Miles Farm Supply Inc. and Marathon Fuels. He also is the owner of Miles LP Gas Inc. and an officer for Miles Farms Inc. He is a board member and past president of Central Bank and Trust Company. Mr. Miles is the chair of the National Fertilizer Retailers Council and a member of the Governor's Task Force on Agriculture, Governor's Task Force on Efficiency, National Fertilizer Association Executive Committee, and Kentucky Environmental Protective Association in the Classroom. He has served as president of the Kentucky Fertilizer and Agricultural Chemical Association and the Kentucky Soil Conservation District. Mr. Miles has also served as secretary of the Kentucky Nature Preserves and the Kentucky Soybean Association. He has been a member of the board of directors for the U.S. Canola Association and Vanderbilt University Hospital. Mr. Miles holds a bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University. He is a former chair of the UK board.
