Phillip Patton is the Barren/Metcalfe Judicial Circuit Court Judge. He is a fellow with the Kentucky Bar Foundation and a UK fellow. He is the director of the Glasgow Highland Games and director of Mary Wood Weldon Public Library. Judge Patton has served as Commonwealth Attorney for the 43rd judicial district and as a Legislative Research Commission staff attorney. He has been a member of a private law practice in Barren County. He has received the Outstanding Advocacy Award from the Rape Crisis and Prevention Center and has been an instructor for “Child Proof” of the American Prosecutors Research Institute. Mr. Patton holds bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees from the University of Kentucky.
