Myra Tobin is an alumni representative. She holds a bachelor's degree from UK, a master's degree from Ohio State University, and a master's in business administration degree from New York University. She held several positions with Marsh & McLennan Companies of New York and was the managing director when she retired in 2000. She has been a junior research analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York, a researcher for the Kentucky Department of Commerce in Frankfort, and office staff assistant for Congressman William H. Natcher in Washington, D.C. Ms. Tobin is the president of Kentuckians of New York and former chair of the board of directors of the National Choral Council in New York. She is the former president of the UK Alumni Association and the International Alliance, a network of executive and professional women. She is the former president of Financial Women's Association of New York and a founding board member of the New York Women's Foundation. She was the recipient of the Rotary Foundation Fellowship, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
