Alumni & Recognition Reception at ASHA 2019

11/22/2019 - 8:30pm
Hyatt Regency Orlando in the Barrel Spring 2 room

Let's celebrate the Big Blue Nation and our Communication Sciences & Disorders program!

The University of Kentucky Communication Sciences and Disorders Department within the College of Health Sciences is honored to have two recipients of the prestigious ASHA Fellowship of the Association. Dr. Richard Andreatta and Dr. Jane Kleinert were each awarded 2019 ASHAF, demonstrating outstanding contributions to the discipline of Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Additionally, we are celebrating Dr. Joe Stemple's retirement. Dr. Stemple joined the faculty of Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2005 following a 30-year clinical career as the founder and director of the Blaine Block Institute for Voice Analysis and Rehabilitation in Dayton, OH and the Professional Voice Center of Greater Cincinnati. A Fellow and Honor Recipient of the American Speech Language-Hearing Association,  Dr. Stemple has been an active national and international speaker and lecturer on topics related to the evaluation and management of voice disorders. His contributions to our department will live on, but he will be greatly missed.

To celebrate these recognitions, we will be hosting a reception at ASHA 2019 on Friday, November 22 from 8:30pm-11pm at the Hyatt Regency Orlando in the Barrel Spring 2 room. No RSVP required, but please direct questions to Caroline Arthur, Director of Alumni Relations (phone: 859-218-0479).

We can't wait to celebrate with you!
