For retirees 65 and older

This plan offers complete freedom to receive services from any provider who accepts Medicare.

This plan, administered by UnitedHealthcare, features a different "plan year" from other UK health insurance plans. Your Medicare Advantage plan begins on January 1 and ends on December 31.

Turning 65 soon?

If you are currently enrolled in other UK health insurance plans, you should enroll for Medicare Part B and this plan at least 30 days prior to your 65th birthday. We recommend enrolling two to three months before your 65th birthday.

Medicare Advantage coverage will automatically renew each year. To get a copy of the enrollment form for this plan, call (859) 257-9519, option 3.

Prescriptions

This plan automatically includes prescription benefit coverage. As a result, you should not apply for a separate Medicare Part D plan.

Provider network UnitedHealthcare

Medicare Advantage plan members have access to any UnitedHealthcare provider.

ID Cards

You should only present your UK Medicare Advantage card for health coverage. For Medicare Parts A and B, you receive a card when you become eligible for Medicare. You will not receive a new card each year.
