Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or any other dementia can be challenging. The disease affects our loved one’s memory, thinking, language and behavior. The Best Friend’s Approach is a care philosophy that enhances the life of our loved one living with this disease. It teaches us to accept our loved one unconditionally, no matter what the behavior.  The care philosophy helps us stay connected to our loved one as the disease progresses. Tracy will share with us what the Best Friends Approach to Dementia Care is all about.

No one likes to think about or talk about death, but having preparations in place for your final arrangements is one of the most generous things you can do for your family. It alleviates the emotional and financial stress to those left behind in a time of sadness and confusion. It assures that your wishes will be respected and honored. Join us as Kelly discusses the importance of  talking with your family about the significance of pre-planning and how to start the process.
