The Neural Systems Lab (PI: Sridhar Sunderam) is affiliated with UK's Department of Biomedical Engineering. Our work is focused on brain state diagnosis and tracking for applications in epilepsy therapy, sleep research, and neurorehabilitation. We use a combination of physiological measurements, computational tools, and somatosensory stimulation to model, track, and perturb brain state in humans and animals. Our goal is to provide better diagnostic and therapeutic alternatives for sleep disorders, epilepsy, and motor impairments caused by neural injury.
