--The 2009 Fall gathering of the Comparative Cognition Society will be Thursday, November 19th in Boston.  Several members of the lab will be presenting our most current research at this conference.  The annual meeting of the Psychonomic Society will follow that same weekend.

--The 2009 meeting of the Kentucky Psychological Association is November 14, 2009 in Lexington, KY.  The Luncheon Presentation will be "My Dog is as Smart as Your Baby and Other Lessons from Comparative Cognitive Research" by Holly Miller, Rebecca Rayburn-Reeves, Jessica Stanger and Kristina Pattison.  To quote the program abstract, "This invited presentation will feature graduate students from the research lab of Dr. Thomas Zentall.  The students will describe, demonstrate (with live animals), and discuss recent reserach in animal learning and its implications for understanding problematic human behavior.  This presentation is designed to celebrate the scientific basis of our profession and the integral link between our academic and clinical members."  (Continuing Education credit available.)
