Special Travel Grants for Young Professionals
The Eastern Section Young Professional (YP) Special Interest Group is offering special travel grants to YPs (AAPG YPs are currently defined as geoscientists under 35 years of age or with <10 years industry experience) to the 2016 Eastern Section Annual Meeting in Lexington, Kentucky. Awarded travel grants will cover the cost of one night's stay at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. These grants are available on a first-come basis and funds are limited, so please apply early!
To be considered for a YP travel grant, you must apply directly with the Eastern Section YP Liaison, Merril Stypula. Please include the following information in your request:
Name
Age (as of September 25, 2016)
Current Employer (or previous employer if unemployed)
Number of years of work experience
Number of past Eastern Section AAPG meetings attended
Reason for attending this year's Annual Meeting

If approved a hotel reservation link for the specially rated YP rooms will be provided
