A US Culture and Business Practices degree is an interdisciplinary program of study that combines robust training in the history, politics, arts, and culture of the United States with a more traditional Business and Finance education. The degree requires coursework in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Gatton College of Business and Economics, and includes an array of high-impact learning experiences. US Cultures and Business Practices students develop critical thinking, writing, communication, and problem-solving skills. The degree prepares students to work in a variety of business, technological, cultural, community, and human-service fields.

Students must take at least 18 credit hours of electives from the approved list, of which at least 3 credit hours must come from each of the three areas: National Formations (includes US in the world), American Communities & Identities, and Literary Arts.
