Coursework is designed around content standards, leadership, and innovative technologies. In this way, the focus of the C3 Certificate coursework should allow for tangible demonstrations of knowledge and practice validated through rigorous research methods.

The C3 Certificate will require 9 credit hours of coursework—or 3 graduate classes. Students will be required to take two foundational courses (EDC 732 and EDC 724) and then select one specialty course from the options below (EDC 733, EDC 777, EDC/EPE 554). Coursework, assignments, and program outcomes will be designed to have real-life implications and should occur in authentic settings (e.g., classroom projects should not be constructed for hypothetical settings but for the schools and districts with which the teachers are associated).
