The Undergraduate Certificate in Esport Performance and Management prepares students for a number of career opportunities in esports and gaming. A few examples include: tournament organizers, facility design, team managers, as well as athlete support staff.

Admission in this program requires admission to the University of Kentucky as an undergraduate student. The certificate is located in the College of Education and is a collaborative effort between the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion and the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
Students who wish to pursue a career in esport should focus on fundamental skills such as sport leadership, business, management, health and wellness, or game design. However, it is also recommended that esport-specific courses should be included to provide additional context and preparation for specific demands of the field. This certificate is designed to meet those demands.
Students must complete all 4 required courses.
