By developing a diverse knowledge reflective of a true liberal arts education, the Bachelor of Liberal Studies is a degree completion option for students who have completed significant coursework but not the requirements of a specific major.
A Liberal Studies education offers students a diverse set of skills that can be adapted and applied to an ever growing career marketplace that is placing more emphasis on the skills associated with a Liberal Arts education. Job postings across a wide spectrum of career fields are looking for candidates with Liberal Arts backgrounds and the vast majority of job descriptions highlight skills such as; teamwork, clear writing, problem-solving and strong communication skills, all of which are developed by earning a degree in Liberal Studies.
