Globular Dentin

The dark staining spherules of mineralization (A) in this section of predentin are calcospherites. Because the spherules are globular in appearance they are referred to as globular dentin. The lighter-staining dentin between the globular dentin is called inter-globular dentin (B). This form of dentin is hypomineralized. What are the striations in the region indicated by C?
