Announcements:

The conference that I mentioned in class as an extra credit option is actually MARCH 5-6, not February 26-27, as I incorrectly mentioned in class. Here is a link to the Department of Political Science's web page, where you can view the program.


Important Dates:

February 16 - First Exam

March 2 - Last day to e-mail your research paper topic to me.

March 12 - Last day to e-mail 1st Short Written Assignment

April 2 - Long Written Assignment Due

April 30 - Last day to e-mail 2nd Short Written Assignment

May 6 - Final Exam


Here are a few links to websites that may help you find sources for your long written assignment:

J-STOR, a collection of academic journals with full text. Because of copyright laws, pre 1997 only. You need to be on a UK computer to use this, but its well worth it.

Infotrac, UK's searchbank for periodical articles. Some have full text, most have abstracts and citations. You need to be on a UK computer or have a password to use this.
