Hello, my name is Cara Franke! I am a Lexington native and a proud December 2009 graduate of the University of Kentucky. I received a Bachelor of Science in Communication and completed a Minor from the Gatton Business School. I spent three wonderful years at UK after transferring universities twice, so I understand how difficult it is to find the perfect fit for you! During my time on campus I held leadership positions with the UK 101 program, the Center for Academic and Tutorial Services, and the Discovery Seminar Program. Additionally, I got involved with Christian Student Fellowship and was a student worker at Starbucks, specializing in delicious beverages! Hello everyone! My name is Bryan Kennedy and I’m originally from Owensboro, KY. In August of 2010 I received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and completed a Spanish minor. My four years at UK were unbelievable! As an undergrad I was involved in numerous UK organizations. This truly took my college experience to the next level. These organizations include; Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., UK Channel 50 (now Wildcat Student TV), Student Government Association, Student Activities Board, University Leadership Summit, SEEDS (Students Educating and Empowering to Develop Safety) and several other student organizations . My greatest UK experience was being able to study abroad to Seville, Spain for the entire fall semester of 2009. My travel territory includes many of the south central and western counties of Kentucky, including: Adair, Allen, Barren, Clinton, Cumberland, Edmonson, Green, Hardin, Hart, LaRue, Meade, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Simpson, and Warren. Hi, my name is Asia Payne! I am from Louisville, Kentucky and a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BA in Economics. While at UK, I was extremely involved in campus life. I sang in Black Voices Gospel Choir, held leadership positions in my sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and the Black Student Union. I was a peer mentor and a resident adviser. Hello! My name is Natalee Southworth and I am originally from Versailles, Kentucky. Residing in Central Kentucky my entire life, the University of Kentucky was my #1 college of choice. I received my Bachelor of Science from UK in 2004, and recently completed my Master of Science. While attending the University of Kentucky, one of my favorite experiences was living on campus and campus life. I enjoyed the widely diverse student body while still receiving the small hometown feeling. I also had an unforgettable experience traveling abroad to China during my last semester. Hello Everyone! My name is Will Bickers and I’m originally from Havelock, North Carolina. However, I now call the beautiful town of Carrollton, KY my home for the past ten years. I’m a proud graduate from the University of Kentucky in May 2010. I received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and completed three minors in Communication, History, and Geography. Being a very social person by nature I immersed myself in all that UK had to offer. I was involved in several student organizations such as: DanceBlue, Relay for Life, Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, F.U.S.I.O.N (an acronym standing for: For Unity and Service In Our Neighborhood), among several others. In addition to being highly involved I took on the role of a student worker. During my time as an undergrad I established myself as a UK Tour Guide and a Summer Advising Wildcat Assistant. These positions helped me realize my passion for this amazing “See Blue” community eventually guiding me toward being a UK Recruiter. My travel territories include the Greater Chicago, Illinois area. Hello! My name is Monica Wade; I was an Army brat for most of my life but am now happy to call the Bluegrass State my home! I finished my B.A. in Journalism from UK in May 2009 and continued on to achieve my Masters of Management from Sullivan University in June 2012. My undergraduate experience at UK was fun-filled and provided both academic and life lessons that have sculpted me in to the person I am today! Many campus offerings appealed to my social and creative ambitions and I frequented gallery exhibits, drama productions and musical offerings at the Singletary Center for the Arts, Guignol Theatre, and UK Art Museum. When I wasn’t working one of my many off-campus jobs I loved catching a new release with friends at the Worsham Theater in the Student Center and could also be found spending many hours studying (and socializing) at the William T. Young Library (Willie T!). I am happy to once again be on campus and travelling to help others SEE BLUE!
