Hello, my name is Cara Franke! I am a Lexington native and a proud December 2009 graduate of the University of Kentucky. I received a Bachelor of Science in Communication and completed a Minor from the Gatton Business School. I spent three wonderful years at UK after transferring universities twice, so I understand how difficult it is to find the perfect fit for you! During my time on campus I held leadership positions with the UK 101 program, the Center for Academic and Tutorial Services, and the Discovery Seminar Program. Additionally, I got involved with Christian Student Fellowship and was a student worker at Starbucks, specializing in delicious beverages! My years at UK were filled with great experiences due to campus involvement, enriching academic curriculum, access to equine athletics, and the amazing city of Lexington! Hello everyone! My name is Bryan Kennedy and I’m originally from Owensboro, KY. In August of 2010 I received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and completed a Spanish minor. My four years at UK were unbelievable! As an undergrad I was involved in numerous UK organizations. This truly took my college experience to the next level. These organizations include; Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., UK Channel 50 (now Wildcat Student TV), Student Government Association, Student Activities Board, University Leadership Summit, SEEDS (Students Educating and Empowering to Develop Safety) and several other student organizations . My greatest UK experience was being able to study abroad to Seville, Spain for the entire fall semester of 2009. My travel territory includes many of the south central and western counties of Kentucky, including: Adair, Allen, Barren, Clinton, Cumberland, Edmonson, Green, Hardin, Hart, LaRue, Meade, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Simpson, and Warren. My out-of-state travel territories include: Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Hello, my name is Mike Kimble! I am from Fort Knox, Kentucky and a May 2008 graduate from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Integrated Strategic Communications. I was extremely involved in campus life. I held leadership positions within my fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and the Black Student Union. I was a resident advisor and peer mentor for multiple years, also contributing as a member of the American Advertising Federation, Inter-Greek Programming Assembly, and various intramural sports. In addition to these activities, I was a major contributor to the poetry/spoken word scene on campus. I’m a true Wildcat hoping to share my unique experiences at UK with you. Hello! My name is Clay Arnold and I hail from the great town of Danville, Kentucky. I’ve lived in Central Kentucky my entire life and can’t imagine a better place to be. I graduated from UK in May of 2007 with a Business degree in both Marketing and Management and have worked with a number of sales, advertising, and customer service companies outside of class. I was also involved with several student organizations during my four years on campus such as the Baptist Campus Ministry and the Honors Program. Before I came to college, I attended almost every type of school a person can go to – public, private, Christian, and homeschool. I’ve also taken classes through private, satellite, and career colleges, so no matter what kind of educational background you may have, I’d love to speak with you! Hi there! My name is Rachel Bolin and I am originally from Hebron, KY, which is located in the northern part of the state. I am a proud 2009 UK graduate, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. My time as a student at the University of Kentucky was absolutely phenomenal. I chose to get plugged in and take full advantage of several clubs and organizations offered at UK; which truly enhanced my overall college experience. I was a member of the Peer Resource Team, an active member and the 5K Run/Walk coordinator for DanceBlue, attended the University Leadership Summit, and I was a student employee for the Office of Student Involvement. There are so many great opportunities to become involved on campus and in the Lexington community!
