UK E-Mail System Delays Resolved

The recent e-mail delivery issues have been resolved. E-mail is now flowing regularly through the system, and all mail queued for local delivery have been delivered. During the outage, some mail may have been returned to the original sender as undeliverable. In those cases, the sender would need to resend the message for it to be delivered to the UK recipient.

Mail Delivery Delays continue to occur December 9, 2009 due to increased holiday related SPAM. This issue has affected hardware due to the increased load. UK IT continues to work 24/7 to resolve the issue. Status updates will be provided as they become available.

We are currently experiencing considerable mail delivery delays brought on by the increased in holiday related SPAM. This problem has expanded and has now affected hardware due to the increased load. We are working around the clock to fix the issue and hope to have this problem resolved soon. Please watch this location for further update on the status of this problem.

The IT CSC is the first point of contact for computer assistance at UK. For example, you may have software problems, networking problems, or you can't log in. Call us first. We will do the leg work necessary to determine what sort of problem you are having and direct you to the correct resource.
