Water Use

Clark County had an estimated population of 32,066 (12,263 households) in 1999; projected population is 35,640 (14,859 households) in 2020. Public water is provided to about 98 percent of the county's residents. In areas not served by public water, about 33 percent of the households use wells and 67 percent rely on other sources. About 365 customers will be added to public water service through new line extensions from 2000 to 2020. If all proposed water-line extensions are made, virtually 100 percent of the county will be connected to public water in the year 2020.
