Old Pine Grove is the remains of a Clark county village at the junction of US 60 and KY 1678 about four miles west of Winchester. A Pine Grove post office opened or moved to a site near here in the mid-nineteenth century and may have moved to a new location a few miles southwest after the railroad opened and a station was opened at what is now called Pine Grove.
