Building Fund

There is no more important initiative of the College of Law than the drive for a new building. Not only will the new building meet the educational needs of the College for years to come, providing much needed classroom, office and library space, but the new building is an important symbolic confirmation of the importance of the College to the University and the Commonwealth.

The College is raising private donations in the amount of $13,000,000 to match the $52,000,000 commitment of state funds for the $65,000,000 project. This gives your contribution leverage equal to 4:1, with each $1 privately contributed releasing $4 in project funds. Never in the history of the college, even with the RCTF program for endowed chairs, professorships and student fellowships, have your gifts been so highly leveraged.
