These laptops are only available for use at the Young Library. Laptops are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations accepted. Software on these laptops includes Windows XP Pro, Office 2007 Pro, EndNote, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Windows Media Player, Real Player, QuickTime, WinDVD player, RecordNOW, Adobe Reader, Google Earth, G.I.M.P., Audacity, SketchUp, Picasa, GhostView and GhostScript, MathPlayer and MathML fonts, XL Math plug-in, and others. Your student ID is required for checking out a laptop. Maximum checkout period is four hours, renewable if no one is waiting for a laptop. A late fee of $10.20 per hour will be assessed. There is a wireless network throughout Young Library. Ethernet ports are also available.
