UK Academic Offense Policy

Academic integrity issues are taken seriously at the University of Kentucky, and there are specific policies and procedures to administer academic offense issues. A summary of the process as well as the flow chart below may be helpful to faculty. If you have questions, please call our office for assistance. For the actual rules, please see Senate Rules 6.3.0 and 6.4.0.

If you suspect an academic offense may have taken place outside of a course, please call our office. There are other rules for handling these types of offenses.
