Wear Jeans for Justice on Friday, April 20th! Jeans for Justice is an international campaign aimed at raising public awareness and community action to end sexual assault. In 1999, the Italian Supreme Court overturned a rape conviction because the victim was wearing jeans. To protest the decision, community members wore jeans to represent that it doesn't matter what you're wearing, nobody deserves to be sexually assaulted. On this day, we ask faculty, staff, students, and community members to wear jeans to visibly protest against misconceptions about sexual assault and show support for survivors.
Calling all VIP volunteers!
On Wednesday, April 25th from 4-5:30pm we want to thank you (staff, faculty, and students) for your invaluable help this semester. If you have volunteered with the VIP Center this past school year, please stop by at this time to get a special thank you from us.
