Mind Matters Lecture Series

The Teaching and Academic Support Center and the Chellgren Center for Excellence in Undergraduate Education co-sponsored the series "Mind Matters" in which UK faculty conducting research in cognition presented and discussed their research and its implications for college teaching and learning. Thanks to all of you who attended the presentations and made the series a success.

The presentations have been archived for those who could not attend.
To view the presentations, please go to the Presentation Archive.

It is anticipated that this series will continue for the 2009-2010 academic year with presentations by faculty who have implemented scholarly teaching practices – instructional practices that are supported by research as being effective. Our list of speakers is still emerging so consider contacting Kathryn Cunningham if you have a scholarly teaching practice that you would like to share with your UK colleagues. Also, please visit the website again in September to find out who will be presenting.
