Veterans Witness UK Football History Thanks to the Generosity of UK Board of Trustee Member
The University of Kentucky pulled the 10 - 7 upset it needed to break the long time losing streak to Tennessee on 26 November. Some lucky student veterans were there to enjoy it thanks to the generosity of UK Board of Trustee Member Jo Curris. Mrs. Curris has a son serving in the U.S. Army and is a huge supporter of the military and veteran students at the University of Kentucky. She donated her tickets to the Veterans Resource Center, who in turn was able to get them in the hands of some deserving student veterans. Josh Hoke, President of the UK Student Veteran Association stated that "It was a fantastic game! The seats were perfect and we were excited to be a part of this historic game."
