It’s National Allied Health Professions Week, or as some call it, National Allied Health Week, where we celebrate all that is wonderful about the Allied Health Professions. There will be lectures and seminars, mental health resources and helpful tips on how to live a healthier life.

During the week, we’ll also be featuring stories about current students on our social media.

Nearly 30 vendors came from near and far to appear at the 2022 UK PA Job Fair, but some one pair made a very long trip. Two recruiters came all the way from Coos Bay, Oregon's North Bend Medical Center.

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’d like to recognize the journey of 43-year-old current student Diana Delcher, a native of El Salvador who will graduate in 2024.

Seth Hagan, a third-year student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, has been named one of 11 national scholarship award winners for 2022 by the Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions.

“I’m very thankful,” he said. “Humble and grateful.”
