Heather Witt received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014. She practiced as a physical therapist for 6 years at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, primarily working on the brain injury unit and has been a staff physical therapist as well as a therapy team leader. Prior to joining the University of Kentucky full-time, she was a lab assistant beginning in 2016. She is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Sciences program at the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Witt enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two sons. Most free time is spent taking them to school activities and soccer games.
