Many of the photos used in this web site were from a CD-ROM entitled, "Eastern North American Butterflies on native Plants," by Dr. Thomas G. Barnes, Department of Forestry, Univeristy of Kentucky. Dr. Barnes has also authored Kentucky Cooperative Extension Publication FOR-98, Attracting Butterflies with Native Plants. The photos of the black swallowtail life cycle were taken from that publication.
