Weed Control for Small-Scale Farms

1:30-4:30 p.m. EDT, at the Berea Urban Farm, 201 Adams Street, Berea, KY 40403. Grow Appalachia Staff will be demonstrating efficient weed control methods for small-scale fruit and vegetable production. There will be side-by-side comparisons of different techniques to allow discussion about the pros/cons, costs, and time used for each method. The workshop will also include touring the various facilities and production systems at the farm, and there will be some demos with a walk-behind tractor with various implements.
