Sara Lind Valdimarsdottir, IPSS graduate student from Horticulture (supervised by Assistant Professor Kendall Corbin), has received an IPSS Travel Award. Sara will use the funds to attend the British Society of Animal Science (BSAS) Annual Meeting in Nottingham (UK) in April. Sara received the British Society of Animal Science’s Undergraduate Thesis of The Year Award in 2021 (“MeDIP-AFLP; a novel approach for the discovery of DNA Methylation Biomarkers”) and has been invited to present her project at BSAS.
