Attend Orientation Week


There are three important events you must attend during Orientation Week:

Check-in Workshop
This workshop is required to report your arrival to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Failure to attend a check-in workshop will result in the cancellation of your visa status, and you will not be able to register for classes. Bring the following documents to your Check-in Workshop:

  • Your UK Letter of Admission
  • Your Passport
  • Your I-20 or DS-2019
  • Your I-94

All Check-in Workshops will be in 207 Bradley Hall. Schedule your Check-in Workshop here.

Mandatory Orientation Day
The orientation session will prepare you for life at UK and give you an opportunity to ask current students and staff questions.

Undergraduate Advising Conference
Meet with your academic adviser to choose your classes for the semester. Confirm you advising conference here.

Graduate students should meet with their department's Director of Graduate Studies.
