The technical upgrade impacting the MyUK Portal, the MyUK Mobile App, and all SAP systems was completed the evening of Saturday, February 25th. All systems are back online.
Customers who utilize the Windows Edge web browser will notice limited or no functionality available. The newest version of SAP Enterprise Portal does not support the Windows Edge browser. This is an issue known to SAP, however no "fix" has yet been developed by SAP.
The MyUK portal Aggregates content from various systems and web applications including third party software products. We recommend the user of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for the best user experience in the MyUK portal. Internet Explorer 11 is also still supported.
The Problem noted with the MyUK portal course registration was resolved shortly before 8:30 the morning of November 16, 2016. The team continues to actively monitor the system and is working to proactively address technical issues.

There has been an issue when finalizing the move from Lync 2010 to Skype for Business 2015. Most people's individual Conference ID was orphaned during the final removal of the old Lync this morning, August 23, 2016. If you are affected, then any existing or future Skype for Business meetings that are based on the old conference ID will not work. Testing for the problem must be done regardless of whether or not you have existing scheduled meetings to avoid potential future issues.
NOTE: To regenerate existing meetings without having to delete and recreate them, please see: Fixing Existing Scheduled Meetings.

You may have seen in the news that a large number of Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Microsoft mail users' passwords have been compromised. Here is an article about it: Hundreds of Millions of Email Accounts Hacked and Traded Online, Says Expert.
ITS security sources believe that this is a credible threat. While this does not affect your UK email/UK O365 account, it could affect your personal Gmail, Outlook/O365, or Yahoo login. We do not know at this time if it affects your Google Apps for Education account (if you have set one up), but you may wish to take protective steps for your own peace of mind. IN addition, you should strongly consider changing the password on any site where you use the same password that you have used for those email accounts. That will prevent anyone finding an account (of any kind) in your name and trying stolen passwords to break into them.
The email programs offer two-step verification, which you will see if you decide to change your password. This will notify you if someone attempts to change your password going forward, because it sends a code for completing password changes to you via a personal device.
As always, continue to use caution when receiving emails from unknown sources, avoid clicking suspicious links when you use your email, and use separate password for your various accounts.
The Cisco AnyConnect VPN client is now available on the UK Download site. This client serves as the replacement to the current Cisco VPN clients (v5.0.07.0410 and v5.0.07.440). Cisco AnyConnect is fully compatible with the Windows 10 operating system.
Please Note: The Cisco VPN clients, v5.0.07.0410 and v5.0.07.440, will continue to work and be available for download until August 2016. At that time, users requiring a VPN client will need to install Cisco AnyConnect VPN client.
Please note that testing of the Windows 10 operating system has revealed compatibility issues with some current UK applications for employees.
Should you have questions regarding upgrading your workstation to Windows 10, please contact your departmental IT group.
