The Phyllis D. Corbitt Community Health Center

The College of Nursing has experienced and dedicated faculty, staff and students who aim to impact the Lexington community and beyond. The UK College of Nursing Phyllis D. Corbitt Community Health Center—named in honor of Dr. Phyllis D. Corbitt, who served the Wilmore community for more than 40 years—opened in September 2015 in an effort to fill a need for accessible, basic health services in Jessamine County.

Under our clinic’s limited-services license, we treat patients with common illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, allergy symptoms, sore throats and skin infections. We also administer immunizations, provide patient education and counseling and do school and sports physicals as well as pre-employment health screenings.

The UK College of Nursing Phyllis D. Corbitt Community Health Center accepts credit cards, debit cards and insurance plans accepted by UKHealthCare.  While UKHealthCare strives to ensure that this list is current and accurate, frequently there are changes in the participating plans.  See the list of insurers here. Inclusion of this list does not guarantee full payment by the insurance company.  Please contact your insurance company to see if your visit to our clinic will be covered.  Copays are due at the time of service and can be paid with cash, debit or credit card.  Please call the clinic at (859) 858-0339 if you have questions.
