Robertson County had an estimated population of 2,162 in 1999 with 60 percent on public water. The estimated 2008 population was 2,202 with 99 percent served by a water utility. In areas not served by public water, about 20 percent of the households use wells and 80 percent use hauled water, cisterns, and other sources.
