Designed for the working professional who needs practical skills to communicate about real world problems, this challenging, 12-credit graduate certificate will prepare you to effectively plan and respond to the risk and crisis situations that organizations face. After completing this graduate certificate, you will be able to:
Design and implement risk communication campaigns.
Develop and evaluate organizational risk assessments and crisis communication plans.
Communicate effectively with internal and external audiences during crisis situations.
Conduct theoretically based research to evaluate risk and crisis communication.
Graduate certificate students have the option to develop additional expertise in training and consulting and knowledge management. Admission to the program requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher.
