Complete our combined application for undergraduate admission, competitive scholarships and the Lewis Honors College. Find all application dates and deadlines at applyuk.com. (The University of Kentucky accepts the Common App and the myCoalition application and is test optional for admission for the 2021-22 academic year). If a deadline falls on a weekend, the application and/or ability to sign up for Orientation will remain open until 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on the following Monday.

Find Your Home

Your success at UK starts every single day -- beginning with the moment you get up. And when you start your day in our residence halls, you’ll already be a part of a creative, connected, active campus community. Take your experience one step further and join a Living Learning Program (LLP). An LLP will help you form connections through specialized programs and intentional interactions with UK faculty and staff -- all focused on your success.

Apply for Aid

The Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2021-22 is available beginning on October 1, at www.fafsa.gov. Incoming freshmen who are admitted to UK and complete the FAFSA prior to December 1, will receive an estimated early financial aid notification before the new year. To be considered for academic and competitive scholarships, you must be admitted to UK with all requirements and a GPA on file in the admissions office no later than December 1. Check out our online tools to find a scholarship that works for you.

Confirm Your Spot

Confirm your decision to attend UK by registering for your Big Blue Nation Orientation. At Orientation, you'll meet other students, hear from campus offices and organizations, meet with your academic advisor and register for classes. Learn more and register at orientation.uky.edu
