Math APP students with a M-ACT of 17 or 18 will enroll in MA 111 with the corequisitie course A&S 121
Math APP students with M-ACT of 16 and below should work with their advisor to determine the most appropriate coursework for their first semester. Students will then enroll in MA 111 and A&S 121 in the Spring 2021 semester.
Transfer students who have earned 12 credit hours with a 2.0 GPA should enroll in MA 111 and A&S 121
In the absence of an ACT/SAT Math score, students with an ALEKS score less than 30 should be place in the M-ACT 16 or less category unless they are a transfer student with a 2.0 GPA and 12 earned credit hours.
APP Reading and Writing
APP Reading and/or Writing students who earn a score below 244 are required to enroll in their Reading/Writing curriculum pathway alongside the corequisite course, UK 125: APP Reading and Writing.
UK 125 is a 1 credit course designed to support and reinforce the college reading and writing process along with the student learning outcomes in the Communication and Composition CORE courses (WRD/CIS 110).
UK 125 can be taken alongside other courses that fulfill the Communication and Composition CORE requirement.
