ProctorU is an online proctoring service that allows you to take your exam from the comfort of your home. ProctorU is available 24/7, however you will need to schedule your proctoring session at least 72 hours in advance to avoid any on demand scheduling fees.
To receive a free ProctorU testing voucher for an ALEKS placement test, please go to www.uky.edu/tl/code. You are required to log-in with your LinkBlue ID. The voucher will serve as a "promo code" when asked to pay for your proctored ALEKS exam with ProctorU. The testing voucher link above is only valid for UK students and can only be claimed once. Please do not share the link with other students. If you are on your second proctored ALEKS attempt and need a ProctorU voucher please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Creating a ProctorU account is simple! Just visit https://go.proctoru.com/session/new and select the "Test-Taker" option.
Please be sure to review the Exam Readiness Guide located at the following link to prepare yourself and your workspace for your appointment. (https://www.proctoru.com/exam-readiness-guide)
In order to use ProctorU, you will need a high-speed internet connection, a webcam (internal or external), a Windows or Apple operating system, and a government issued photo ID.
