Assembling a Teaching Portfolio
502 King Science and Engineering Library
Wednesday, January 16, 2019 - 3:00pm
Assembling a teaching portfolio, to include writing a teaching philosophy statement, is an excellent way of providing evidence of instructional practice so that judgments on teaching performance go beyond simply using student evaluations. It is also an excellent way to engage in reflective practice regarding your teaching. This workshop will cover how to write a teaching philosophy statement, what to include in a portfolio, and how to create a digital portfolio.
Registration for this workshop has been closed due to unusually high numbers. Please contact Bill Burke at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about teaching portfolios.
Event concludes at 4:00 PM.
