Our Mission

Campus Physical Plant Division Health and Safety Program works with the University Environmental Health and Safety Department to provide a healthy and safe working environment for management, superintendents, supervisors, and employees within CPPD. Some of the areas in which the Health and Safety Program provides assitance includes:

  • Compliance with Federal and State regulations;

  • Compliance with University health and safety policies;

  • Helping prepare programs on related subjects;

  • Maintaining records;

  • Health and Safety training new and existing employees;

  • Evaluating employee exposure to biological agents, such as mold;

  • Evaluating employee exposures to RF energy;

  • Representing CPPD on University Health and Safety Committees, and;

  • Maintaining a database of all chemicals used by CPPD employees within campus buildings.
